WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (WTNH) — An even faster way to get through airport security? The Transportation Security Administration has begun rolling out its new “TSA Precheck Touchless ID” lane, which uses facial comparison technology to verify passenger identities – allowing passports and driver’s licenses to stay in wallets.

The TSA said its PreCheck airport screening lanes are operational, hours after the DHS said the faster security checkpoint services would be paused.
